The film looks at the intricate relationship that exists between a mammal, an insect and a tree in the mopane woodland of the Tuli area of  Botswana, and the influence this has on the lives of many other creatures – including people – that share the same habitat.   It is a story of biodiversity; of the dynamic harmony in nature; and of survival in the face of adversity.
